Brackenhurst Pre-primary School is a school of excellence specialising in early childhood development. A solid educational foundation is vital to the optimal growth and success of a child, and at our school we positively contribute to the holistic development of every child.

The Principal
Reshlie Singh
Reshlie Singh has been an educator for more than twenty-one years, and during that time she discovered that there were sometimes “gaps” in children’s previously acquired knowledge which hindered them at a later stage – either primary or high school. This highlighted the need for improvement in early childhood development, and this is on what she decided to spend her time and energy.
Her qualifications include an Honours degree in Educational Management, BA degree (Eng, Edu) and HED (Postgrad). Whilst teaching in the UK, she obtained QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), but realised that there is so much more to contribute towards education in South Africa and so she returned home.
